The Connection Code is a collaboration between WIRED and Sparks exploring how creativity and technology can bring people closer together. Across a series of intimate events we uncover the ideas, people and breakthroughs shaping the next chapter of connection.
CHALLENGE
Develop a cohesive visual identity and marketing campaign for The Connection Code’s inaugural event at Web Summit Lisbon, a leading global tech and marketing conference drawing over 70,000 attendees. With an evening event hosted at the iconic MAAT, Sparks needed to drive meaningful engagement, spark industry conversation, and reinforce our position as a leader in experiential marketing.
SOLUTION
Partnering closely with key stakeholders, we crafted a clean, modern visual identity that represented both Sparks and WIRED while resonating with an audience of CMOs, founders, investors, policymakers, and senior brand leaders across technology, media, mobility, and finance.
To further amplify the experience, we collaborated with YCUK to produce a connected content series under Sparks’ “Live from Lisbon” insight-driven model. This approach blended real-time discovery from the conference floor with cultural connection from the WIRED × Sparks @ MAAT event, creating a unified narrative that elevated visibility, engagement, and thought leadership across channels.
